The Sprint Taster Day returned after a two-year Covid-induced absence on Sunday at its traditional home of Curborough, near Lichfield in Sunny Staffordshire.
Eighteen intrepid Morgan drivers took the track to experience life in the fast lane and the chance to take the racing line through corners without the dangers of a speed camera lurking around the bend.
Drivers were coached by competitors from the MSCC Techniques Speed Championship, ‘SpeedMog’, fresh from their first competitive action of the year at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire the day before.
Cars ranged from a 1936 4-4, one of the very first four-wheeled Morgans, to the latest Plus Six models. The cars were very different, but the grins on the faces were just the same.
See you again, same time, same place, in 2023. And, er, next time, why not have a go yourself ?
